In this study, NaBH4 hydrolysis experiments were carried out in the presence of a Co-B/Ni foam catalyst prepared by an electroless coating method. The effects of different parameters such as NaOH concentration, NaBH4 concentration and catalyst amount on hydrolysis were investigated. As a result of the hydrolysis experiments carried out in the light of optimum parameters, the maximum hydrogen production rate and activation energy (Ea) were obtained as 7050.00 ml/min*g and 26.00 kJ*mol-1, respectively. In addition, the structural and morphological properties of the low-cost and high-performance Co-B/Ni foam catalyst were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) measurements, respectively.
