Strawberry; It has important advantages in terms of cultivation, such as being easy to propagate and setting fruit in a short time. It has appealed to a wide range of consumers in recent years, as it is a fruit that is delicious, rich in vitamins and minerals, consumed fresh as well as processed or frozen, and is increasingly sought after. Just as it is grown in flat areas, it is also grown on slopes and areas where other products grow in limited amounts. It can also be grown on land in mountain villages. Our country has an important potential in strawberry cultivation due to its different climate and soil characteristics. In this study, general botanical characteristics of the strawberry plant are mentioned.
